Vicky Hastings Harwell

Vicky brings over 25 years of experience to the Williams Law & Mediation Group and has one of the most diverse and complex caseload portfolios in the area. Vicky excels at litigation and trial preparation, and often times her work takes her into the courtroom where she puts in long hours to ensure our clients’ success. Her background and current projects span divorces involving complex property, alimony and child custody issues, workers’ compensation and personal injury lawsuits, insurance and corporate work, and special projects for our government and municipal clients.

Vicky has been dedicated to Southern Middle Tennessee her whole life. She graduated and raised her family in Pulaski. After she began working in the court system, the unique needs and problems she saw facing our area’s working men and women led her into public service. She has now begun her third term as Alderwoman on the Pulaski City Council, where she has gained a strong reputation for working to improve the local economy by supporting industrial development and job creation and creative grant writing to benefit local governments.

She is a well-known community activist, having served as President of the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women, President and Tennessee Young Careerist for the Association of Business and Professional Women, and life-long volunteer in the Democratic Party. She has traveled throughout the state, the region, and the country with campaigns and elected officials.

All who know Vicky see that she especially enjoys the teamwork between our staff and our partnering attorneys to give our clients excellent legal representation and satisfying results.  When she is away from the office, Vicky most often can be found enjoying time with her husband, Terry (who himself is a member of Giles County's governing Commission), her three children, and her grandchildren. Vicky is an accomplished gardener and writer.
